The plant was established in 2014 by Simona Company and commenced production in the same year. The project came to fruition through a collaboration between LUCKY Cement Co., a subsidiary of YB Group based in Pakistan, and AL-SHOMOOKH Construction Co. from Dubai. This partnership was presented by AL-HAKAM Co. in Iraq, marking the plant as a significant economic venture in the Basra Region.
With a daily production capacity of 6000 tons, Al-Mabrooka Cement Company plays a vital role in meeting the region's cement demands. The plant produces three different types of cement to cater to various construction requirements.
In terms of storage capacity, the plant boasts three silos with a total storage capacity of 15,000 tons. These silos are essential for storing the produced cement before it is distributed to customers and construction sites, ensuring a steady and efficient supply chain.
